Reserve & Request
Course Reserve Request Form
Instructors can request library materials (books and copies of articles) to be placed on reserve at the library for in-library or short-term use by students in their classes. Instructors may also place items they own on reserve for their classes.
Interlibrary Loan Form (OCLC)
Books and journal articles not available at Holy Family may be obtained via Interlibrary Loan. You must be a student, faculty, or staff member of the university to use this service. Some materials, such as textbooks, popular movies, and newly-published books may not be available through this service.
Interlibrary Loan Form (EZborrow)
EZBorrow is available to Holy Family University students, faculty, and staff, through our membership with PALCI. It allows you to borrow books from over 60 academic libraries in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York, and West Virginia. You can request books directly through the EZBorrow interface and receive them within 5 – 7 business days.
One-on-One Research Consultations
Students may use this form to request a one-on-one consultation with a librarian to begin research on a paper, find sources, or review the APA/MLA formatting of their paper and/or references. We offer both online and in-person options, which is ideal for online learners and Newtown students. A confirmation will be sent once an appointment is made. Please contact reference@point-st.com if you have any questions.
Faculty and Instructors: Schedule an Instruction Session
Instructors can use this calendar to book library instruction sessions for their classes. Sessions are held either in class, remotely, or in a computer lab if it is available. In these sessions, patrons will develop skills to discover/evaluate research information, plagiarism, and proper citation. For more information regarding library instruction sessions visit our Information Literacy page.
